Aaron Ramsey believes he will improve after his first full season of top flight football
Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey believes that there will be more to come from him next season as he will be more accustomed to the rigours of top flight football.
The Welshman is set to make his 50th appearance of the season tomorrow in the USA against Mexico and he admitted he struggled at the back end of the Gunners campaign, where they pipped Tottenham to third.
“This was my first full season,” he said. “I started off well, I had good games and bad games and I have probably got a bit tired towards the end.
“But I’m happy with the way things have gone this season.
“Obviously I know there is a lot more to come from me as a player. I’m still learning but on the whole I’ve been pretty pleased.”
Ramsey had suffered a broken leg in 2010, which limited the last two seasons and he believes the demands of Premier League football took its toll towards the end.
“My leg is fine,” he added.
“The demands in the Premier League are extremely high and you have games every three or four days. I think at certain times that took its toll on me.
“That was to be expected. I’m sure I will be better and more aware of it next season.”
