A suspected drug dealer has been charged following a raid at a Haggerston estate yesterday morning.

Jordan Samuel-Welch, of Stean Street, Hackney, appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court today on a charge of possession with intent to supply class B drugs and possession of criminal property under the Proceeds of Crime Act, police said.

The drug involved is cannabis, and the criminal property is cash.

Police arrested him while raiding a flat near the Regent’s Canal at about 7am on Thursday, after being handed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
