A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the back in Broadway Market on Monday night (June 4).
The incident happened just before midnight at the site of the popular market in Haggerston, and the victim was taken by ambulance to an east London hospital.
A police spokeswoman described the man’s condition as stable and said detectives are still investigating, although there have been no arrests so far.
Witnesses, or anyone with information, should contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
A severely epileptic boy and his family were evicted from their home and split up last week due to bureaucratic rules – despite pleas from medical staff warning that the move could cause him to suffer life-threatening fits.
