Two arrests made in Finsbury Park rape investigation

Police investigating a rape in Finsbury Park have made two arrests.

Earlier this week detectives appealed for information on the horrific attack that took place between 11pm on September 23 and 1am the next morning following a festival in the park.

Two men, both 32, have now handed themselves in. They were arrested on suspicion of rape and have been released under investigation.

Enquiries are ongoing into the incident.
