Cyclist in hospital after being hit by bus in Old Street

A cyclist is in hospital after being hit by a bus in Old Street last night.

The woman was struck at the junction with Great Eastern Street at 7pm.

Police and medics attended and she was taken to hospital with serious injuries, though her condition is not said to be life threatening or life changing.

Roads were closed until 10.10pm. No one has been arrested.

Though previously reported to be a Deliveroo cyclist, the company confirmed she was not working for them.
