Hackney musicians sought for massive closing event for London 2012 Festival

Bands, groups, choirs and individual musicians are being offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take part in a massive closing event for the London 2012 Festival on September 9.
Musical performances in Upper Clapton’s Springfield Park will be one of hundreds of outdoor community concerts taking place simultaneously across the country, making up the Bandstand Marathon.
The London 2012 Festival is a spectacular 12-week nationwide celebration running from June 21, bringing together artists from across the world.
