Hollywood stars spotted in Hoxton

Hollywood A-listers Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender have been spotted filming scenes for their new movie on the streets of Hoxton.
Excited Hackney Gazette reader Lee Acaster sent this picture to our photo-sharing website, Iwitness24.com, with the caption: “Filming of new Ridley Scott film The Counselor in Coronet Street, N1. Fassbender is in there somewhere apparently!”
Irish actor Michael Fassbender recently starred as the android David in Prometheus, another film directed by Ridley Scott.
The Counselor, which is about a lawyer who gets involved in drug trafficking, was written by Cormac McCarthy, who also wrote the novels No Country for Old Men and The Road – both of which were turned into films.
The film will also star Penelope Cruz and Jarvier Bardem and is due to be released next year.
