The 12 best pictures by pupils at St Monica’s Catholic Primary School, Hoxton Square, are displayed along Old Street, along the edge of the Red Market Pop Up.

Market organiser Liam O’Hare said: “It’s fantastic; everybody going through Old Street will see them.”

Red Gallery, based on Rivington Street, is behind the project called Our Neighbourhood which aims to remind visitors about the different communities that live in the area.

It also gives the children a platform to share their creativity with the wider community. and each picture is meant to represent the way the children see the world around them.

The pictures are on show alongside the market held from Thursday-Saturday each week until September.
