Local athletics club hope to raise funds through charity raffle

Track Academy are hoping to raise funds through a charity raffle to win tickets to see Usain Bolt in an individual race at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics in August.

The competition is due to take place at the London Stadium in Newham from August 4-13

If all goes to plan Bolt, who is not running the 200m at the event, is due to race in the final of the men’s 100m on the evening of August 5.

The session is sold out, but thankfully Willesden-based Track Academy are offering two tickets to see the 100m final as part of a raffle.

Tickets for the raffle are available for a minimum donation of £5, though anyone interested in entering can donate more than that if they wish to do so.

Entry for the raffle closes at 11am on August 3, with the winner to be notified soon after. To enter, visit www.trackacademy.co.uk/donations/win-tickets-to-london-2017-athletics/.
