London Lions welcome Surrey Scorchers to the Copper Box Arena on Sunday for their first home match of the new season, after a winning start at Worcester.

Lions kept their confidence up from their Betway British All Stars Championship win at the O2 Arena with an impressive win at the University of Worcester on Friday night.

The visitors led from start to finish with scoring spread around and five players in double figures.

Justin Robinson and Demonte Flannigan led the charge in the first half, with Momcilo Latinovic and Mo Lanegger oozing class in the second.

Lions edged each of the first three quarters by two points, before breaking clear with a decisive 11-0 run in the finnal period to open up a commanding 83-68 advantage with 2:22 left on the clock.

The home crowd were silenced by back-to-back triples from Lanegger with Lions converted 57 per cent of shots from the field, while keeping Worcester below 40.

Robinson finished with 15 points, five assists and four steals on his BBL debut, while Flannigan shone with 19 points from 8 of 12 shooting.
