The Lion Amateur Boxing Club will be staging their second show of the season this Saturday at their newly-revamped headquarters.

The club, who are based at Pitfield Street in Hoxton, expect 10 of their own boxers to take to the ring on the night.

Among the Lion boxers expected to be on the show is the current National Association of Boys and Girls Clubs champion (formerly known as the National Association of Clubs for Young People), Amo Singh, and his brother Ram.

Bradley Messer and Reece Cosgrove are other Lions expected on the bill.

The fights get underway at 6pm with 15 bouts scheduled to take place.

Tickets can be purchased on the door at £15 for adults and £8 for U15s.

Also on Saturday the Lion Club’s Will Coakley boxes in the semi-finals of the National Youth and Cadet championships in Basildon.

The semi-finals of the London Elite championships take place over Thursday and Friday at the Tottenham Centre, 701 High Street.

Lion boxers Kristan Singh and the returning Louis Isaacs will be in action on Thursday while on Friday it will be the turn of William Webber.
