Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been talking ahead of the Europa League home tie with Ostersund at the Emirates on Thursday evening. Read a transcript of his press conference at London Colney.

Wenger on his goalkeeping choice for Ostersund and Manchester City

Ospina will play against Ostersund. And on Sunday. I have two world class goalkeepers

Wenger on Mesut Ozil

Ozil has been sick and he will not be involved [against Ostersund]. I expect him to be ok for Sunday. Mkhitaryan will play [on Thursday]

Wenger on Aaron Ramsey, Alexandre Lacazette and Danny Welbeck

Ramsey is a bit short for Ostersund. I don’t rule him out on Sunday. Lacazette is doing well in his recovery. Four weeks. Danny Welbeck will play tomorrow

Wenger on the tie

A big part is done but we have to show enough respect and love to the tournament. [Young players] have shown me they have the quality to compete.

I always look to find a team that will win a game. This competition is important to us. It’s a good opportunity for the players. There is a fight for places

Wenger on Pierre-Emierick Aubameyang being cup-tied in Europe

When you look at the amount of money in transfers everyone wants the [cup-tie] rule to be changed. The Europa League is one of our priorities. Ideally we want to come back to the Champions League through the league
