Clapton finally picked up their first victory of 2018 as they cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win against Burnham Ramblers.

The Tons Khadean Campbell, Steven Sardinha and Greg Akpele all got on the score sheet and helped guide their side to three points at the Leslie Field Stadium.

Jonny Fowell’s men remain sixth in the Essex Senior League and will be now hoping to go on a run and make up some ground on the leading pack.

After the match defender Dylan Ebengo tweeted: “Happy to captain the side to a 3-0 win not the best team performance but a clean sheet away from home and the three points is most important thing. @claptonfcnews @ClaptonUltras.”

Subs: Musson, Warwick, Bond, French, Hughes.

Clapton: Lopez, Henry, Bello, Ebengo, Santos, Sardinha, Campbell, Cobblah, Reed, Bichard, Akpele.

Subs: Hill, Morris, Ossai, Loblack.
