We could have come up with a snappier title, but the creativity is starting to wane at this time of year

With the Christmas period now firmly upon us, we’re slowly running out of things to do to keep us all entertained.

We’ve already watched enough films to do us until the festive period next year, and listening to the likes of ‘Fairytale of New York’ and ‘Last Christmas’ is starting to grate and get on your nerves.

So, we at Archant have been kind enough to give to you another way to while away the time with what will hopefully prove to be a testing quiz about Boxing Day football.

Test your knowledge of one of the most traditional days of the football calendar, a day when we all know the festive period begins in earnest.

Hopefully the quiz grants you a few minutes away from one of those relatives you only see at this time of year who is retelling the same story you have plenty of times before.
