Mauricio Pochettino’s team will then host Chelsea in their first home match of the season at Wembley

Tottenham Hotspur will start their 2017/18 Premier League campaign away to newly promoted Newcastle United on the weekend of August 12.

The match will give Mauricio Pochettino’s team the perfect chance to avenge the 5-1 defeat they suffered at St James’ Park on May 15 2016.

Spurs’ first fixture at Wembley will be the following weekend and it is against the champions Chelsea, who beat Tottenham there in the FA Cup semi-final in April.

The second London derby of the campaign will be on September 23 when Pochettino takes his team back to West Ham United.

Spurs have a testing end to October with a home match against Liverpool on October 21 before travelling to Manchester United a week later.

The first north London derby takes place on November 18 and will see Tottenham go to Arsenal.

Tottenham visit Manchester City on December 16 and host Southampton on Boxing Day and West Ham on December 30.

Spurs face a tricky spell at the start of 2018 with a home clash against Manchester United on January 31.

They travel to Liverpool on February 3 before hosting Arsenal at Wembley on February 10.

Pochettino’s side travel to Chelsea on March 31, host Manchester City on April 14 and end with a clash at Wembley against Leicester City on May 13.

Spurs are scheduled to face Burnley at the national stadium on August 26 – the third Premier League game of the campaign.

This match will be rescheduled, however, with the Rugby League Challenge Cup final taking place on the same day.
