Basketball team run competition at Haggerston Park
Hackney White Heat are hosting a ‘3-on-3’ basketball tournament for men, women and children on Saturday, July 28.
The event is to raise the awareness of basketball in the Hackney area, and to encourage young players to participate in local sporting activities.
White Heat expect this event to increase the number of younger players in and around the Hackney area, giving more opportunities to enjoy future basketball activities and competitions.
There are three competitions on the day – senior men, senior women and a mixed gender under-17s.
The entry fee for the tournament is just £15 per team, with a maximum of four players on each side.
As well as the basketball, there will also be cash prizes, games, competitions, doughnuts and much more for all players, spectators and families.
