Musicians and actors are on stage next week in a series of experimental collaborations.

Soundbites comes to the Rich Mix arts centre in Bethnal Green Road, Shoreditch, on Saturday, January 28.
Young writers take two existing tracks sent to them by a music act and create a 15-minute play inspired by the music.
Playwrights taking part are Alice Birch, who has worked with Dalston’s Arcola Theatre, Rachel De-lahay and Tom Morton-Smith. Music is from dirty pop trio Your Girl Likes Us, electronic instrumentalists Talk in Colour and vocalist and guitarist, Abdul Shyllon.
After the three plays, each music act will perform a 20-minute – and it might even turn into a party.
The night starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £8 or £6 for concessions. To book go to www.richmix.org.uk.
Wild food foraging has gained a bit of a following recently. Maybe the idea of free fare as supermarket prices soar has naturally become more appealing, or perhaps the notion of embracing our hunter-gatherer roots is just the latest food fad.
