An Alan Partridge Bingo night is coming to Hackney

Although we might as well say this now: Sue Cook has pulled out.
Rumours are that the Linton Travel Tavern was fully booked, so this special edition bingo night has relocated to Moth Club.
Taking place on Sunday February 3, this is a must for any Partridge fan as numbers are switched for classic quotes and characters from Steve Coogan’s most famous comedy creation.
Tickets are £5.50 (plus £1 per game you play) and there will be bingo, interactive games, prizes and generally fun times. You can probably expect a hard time of it if your name is Dan…
So dig out your Castrol GTX jacket and head over for a night of games devoted to a man who is a household name in the North Norfolk area. It certainly beats a Bond movie marathon or an evening spent at the Long Stanton Spice Museum.
