Concerned about the moped crime epidemic in Islington? And anti-social behaviour in your street or estate?
Islington’s Safer Neighbourhood Board is holding a public meeting on Tuesday for people to have their say on these issues – and shape the agenda on crime in the borough.
The board is independent of the police, council and other statutory bodies. It consists of community representatives.
The main purpose is to set policing priorities, monitor cops’ performance and get communities involved in crime prevention. The meeting will also influence how project funding provided by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime is spent in Islington.
The meeting runs from 6pm to 9pm at Islington Town Hall. Food and refreshments will be provided.
