After almost a year of hard work by local volunteers, a thank-you celebration for children and parents was held at Bramshill Road open space.
The park, located in Bramshill Road in Harlesden, has seen the community involved in a project that started in September 2017.
Local volunteers have weeded, planted, sowed and watered the plants, and collected litter to make the park family friendly.
The park was previously known as a place of anti-social behaviour, but thanks to a redesign and the work of volunteers, Bramshill Road Open Space is now enjoyed by the local community.
Fatema Paretha, owner of eco-friendly business Holistic Happy Birthdays, said: “It was a really good afternoon.
“We made a banner that said: ‘We Love Share And Care For Our Park’. Every child was decorating their own letter, everything was eco-friendly and plastic free, in line with my business.”
