Hackney South and Shoreditch candidates will take questions from constituents tonight at a General Election hustings.
The event, hosted by the De Beauvoir Association, takes place at St Peter’s Church in Northchurch Terrace from 7.45pm.
Eight candidates have confirmed their appearance – Labour’s Meg Hillier, Lib Dem Dave Raval, Tory Luke Parker, Rebecca Johnson of the Green Party, Angel Watt of the Christian Peoples Alliance, Jonty Leff of the Workers Revolutionary Party and independents Hugo Sugg and Russell Shaw Higgs.
The hustings will be chaired by Rev Julia Porter, with candidates fielding questions from the audience.
The event is first come, first served.
