The principal of Mossbourne Community Academy, Peter Hughes, has praised his year 13 students following the publication of their A-level results today.
The school obtained a 100 per cent pass rate, with 42pc of exams being graded A* or A, up 11pc on last year.
And 90pc of exams were graded between A* and C, making it one of the best sets of results for the school, which also saw a record-equalling seven students gaining a place at either Oxford or Cambridge.
“Mossbourne has set the standard for academic excellence and shown what is possible with hard work and dedication,” said Mr Hughes.
“Our results would not have been possible without the support of a highly dedicated staff body who work tirelessly to ensure our students receive an exceptional education.”
