A Norwich City footballer is putting a Hackney charity forward for a community grant to further its work for children.
Bradley Johnson, who hails from Hackney is pushing the the Robert Levy foundation, -for the Aviva Community Fund
The charity is set up in memory of teenager Robert Levy who died in a violent attack, aged 16, and works to provide activities for young people to get them out of street crime.
The City midfielder said: “There are not many opportunities for kids in London and in the summer, the workshops they put on with Hackney College allows the kids to enter a calmer place, and do anything they fancy doing. They give kids the opportunity to fulfil their dreams.”
