Work experience and apprenticeship opportunities will be flagged up at Hoxton’s job centre next week.
The “Get Britain Working Fair” is aimed at 18-24 year olds and will also have information about voluntary work, training, courses, internships, and jobs.
The fair takes place on January 30 from 10am to 3.30pm at Hoxton Jobcentre Plus in Drysdale Street.
It was announced yesterday (Wednesday) that unemployment fell 167,000 in the last three months, which is the largest quarterly fall in 16 years, since August to October 1997.
Meanwhile, the number of people in a job rose 280,000 in the last three months according to the figures published by the Office for National Statistics.
