Up and coming UK artists are all set to play in St Peter’s Church in De Beauvoir this Sunday for a free afternoon of live music.
Acoustic Sunday will see soul band Extra Curricular, Indie duo Blue Sunday, Tankus the Henge front man Jaz Delorean, and solo artist De’ Borah all perform in the newly refurbished Crypt Café at the church in Northchurch Road.
Acoustic Sundays was launched in 2010 by SoundAdviceUK (SAUK) at The Vortex Jazz Club in Dalston, to provide performance opportunities for local musicians and a platform for SAUK which is run by volunteer professionals.
Oli K-H, who managed the project for a year said: “Evening events are rarely accessible to children and older people and we want to make live music more available, with reasonably priced food and drink and a friendly atmosphere.” Performances this Sunday June 2 take place from 2pm to 7pm.
