Dubstep producer and DJ Flux Pavillion has been confirmed as an act at the Radio 1 Hackney Weekend.
The electronic dance artist, whose real name is Joshua Steele, will appear on Sunday June 24 at the summer festival, which is set to rival Glastonbury.
Flux Pavillion was one of only two independent artists nominated for the BBC’s Sound of 2012 poll, and last month his track I Can’t Stop was used in the viral Kony campaign to make the indicted Ugandan war criminal and International Criminal Court fugitive Joseph Kony globally known.
