A 12-year-old Jewish boy was allegedly attacked on a bus while travelling home from school.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that they received a report of a possible antisemitic incident on a 253 bus in Stamford Hill.
The incident was reported to have happened at 6pm on Monday (January 30) at the Lynmouth Road bus stop.
According to local Jewish neighbourhood watch group, Shomrim, a man aged in his 50s grabbed the boy by the neck and pushed him off the bus.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers have attended and spoke to the boy concerned.
“The matter was reported as a possible antisemitic incident by a third party agency.”
They added that there have been no arrests and that enquiries continue.
