A teenage boy is due to appear in court charged with the fatal shooting of Lianne Gordon in Hackney.

The 16-year-old was charged on Saturday (December 9) with the murder of 42-year-old Lianne and the attempted murder of a 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy.

He was further charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will now appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court today (December 11).

Police were called to Vine Close in Lower Clapton last Tuesday (December 5) to reports of a shooting.

Officers attended the scene where Lianne was pronounced dead.

A 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were taken to hospital for treatment but have since been discharged.
