A teenager charged with the fatal shooting of Lianne Gordon in Hackney is set to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow.

The 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged after a triple shooting in Vine Close, Lower Clapton last week (December 5).

He appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court yesterday (December 11), charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder.

Liane Gordon, 42, died at the scene of the shooting, while a 20-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds. Both have since been discharged from hospital.

The 16-year-old arrested by police has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

He has been remanded in custody and will now appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow (December 13).
