A mother is due to appear in court charged with the murder of her four-year-old son.
Emergency services were called to Montague Road, Hackney at 10.50pm on Wednesday (December 20) after concerns were raised about a child.
The boy, who has been named as Kobi Macharia Dooly, was found suffering knife injuries.
He was taken to hospital for treatment but subsequently died.
Keziah Macharia, 41, of Montague Road, Hackney, will appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court today (December 22) charged with the murder of her son.
A special post mortem is scheduled to take place next Thursday (December 28).
