Forensics investigators have arrived at the scene of a fatal stabbing this morning.

A 49-year-old man died after he was found with stab injuries at Cranwood Street, Shoreditch, by Metropolitan Police officers shortly after 3.10am today (December 26).

Two men aged 49 and 42 and two women aged 35 and 44 were arrested on suspicion of his murder. They currently remain in custody.

PA reported that three bikes could be seen beyond the police cordon on the street, with two of them lying in the road.

The Mayor of Hackney offered her condolences on social media and said her thoughts go out to the family and loved ones of those affected.
