Three London bakeries have been named among the best 13 in the whole of the UK.

In a list curated by British Baker, the experts create the list to help celebrate "artisan bakeries and the people behind them".

Discussing the list, the editor of British Baker, Amy North said: "Each of the 13 bakeries on the list has been recognised by industry experts and their peers as a beacon of dedication, passion, and skill, as demonstrated through lovingly handcrafted products and the people who make them."

The three London bakeries to make the list were Arôme, Toad Bakery and The Dusty Knuckle.

3 London bakeries named among the best in the UK

The Dusty Knuckle in the Dalston and Harringay neighbourhood placed third on the list and is described as "a purpose-driven bakery and café which strives to use its busy operations to help at-risk youths take forward steps in their lives through on-the-job training and mentorship."

The bakery offers a good range of items, from loaded sandwiches, fresh bread, wood-fired pizzas, pastries and more.

On the review site Tripadvisor, The Dusty Knuckle got an impressive 4/5 stars with one fan sharing: "A yummy bakery with a chilled vibe. If you fancy a sandwich full of flavour or a nice pastry treat then this is the perfect place for a lunch stop on your travels."

Also on the list in London was Toad Bakery in Camberwell placed seventh and has a menu that regularly changes as "the bakery team strives to use seasonal fresh ingredients as much as possible."

Last on the list for London was the French patisserie Arôme which draws inspiration from Singapore and Japan as well.

Placing 11 on the list, Arôme offers croissants, pain au chocolate and their signature  Arôme Honey Butter Toast.
