Deliveroo has announced the winners of its 2024 Restaurant Awards including the full list of London winners.

The awards celebrate the best and most loved independent restaurants across the UK, from local independent burger joints to neighbourhood sushi restaurants and all the dishes, cuisines, and flavours in between.

In London, 11 restaurants were named winners after being voted by food fans with their hearts (and stomachs).

The awards saw Peckham’s popular White Men Can’t Jerk take home the top regional gong as Independent Restaurant of the Year Greater London 2024.

Fellow winners included BONA Sourdough Pizza (Best Pizza), Kricket (Best Indian & Nepalese) and Eggslut (Best Breakfast and Coffee).

White Men Can't Jerk is praised for its Caribbean fusion menu which features its signature melt-in-your-mouth jerk chicken, packed with vibrant spices and flavours.

On the online review site Tripadvisor, one visitor shared: ". The jerk chicken rice and peas meal was amazing and comes with this amazing chilli jam yummy... the wings are huge and taste great."

Kricket was named the best Indian & Nepalese restaurant, on its website it shares that it serves a "classic and creative selection of Indian-inspired dishes in a cosy atmosphere."

On Tripadvisor it has a score of 4/5 with one fan sharing: "This place is great and their food is good quality. They really care about customers' feedback,I left a review on a different platform a few weeks ago about the quantity of paneer in a dish ( I love their food and wanted more."
