A fish and chip shop that serves specially brewed beer with its dishes has its sights set on being the best in the country.
Cod and Brew will officially open in Church Street, Stoke Newington, on Friday (November 29).
Owners Inan Dogus & Kas Has say they have created a "modern-yet-traditional" fish and chip shop that they hope will become an "award-winning sensation".
Inan said: "Our latest venture is a stunner of a chippy, blending classic British charm with quirky disco vibes.
"The result is a dining experience that’s as delightful as the food itself.
"From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a modern, vibrant atmosphere. Neon lights and funky decor set the tone, but at its heart, this shop stays true to its roots, serving up the classics we all know and love.
"It's more than a meal, it’s an experience."
Alongside golden fish and chips, they serve pies, sausages, burgers, and chicken. Vegan and gluten-free options are also available.
The shop also sells specially brewed beer on tap to pair with their dishes.
Inan added: "Our goal is to make this the best fish and chip shop in the country.”
The shop welcomes customers from 12 pm to 9pm seven days a week.
