London Boroughs Youth Cup football tournament in Barnet

The London Boroughs Youth Cup, sponsored by Marlborough Highways, is a 6-a-side tournament at Barnet Football Club on Sunday, May 18.

(Image: Marlborough Highways) It will see teams of 10- and 11-year-olds from 29 London boroughs come together for a day of football in aid of the Mayor of Barnet’s Charity.

The event, open to both boys and girls, gives young players from schools, community groups, and grassroots football clubs a chance to represent their borough and experience the thrill of competitive sport.

The competition was "designed to promote inclusivity, diversity, and participation from all backgrounds."

One Touch Youth Football Club, representing the London Borough of Newham with Poppy Kennedy, Social Value and Sustainability Apprentice at Marlborough Highways.
