A woman has been rushed to hospital after a crash on a major road in Hackney.

The London Ambulance Service was called at 7.30pm yesterday (January 29) to reports of a crash on Mare Street.

Our sister site London Now reports that an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast-response car were dispatched to the scene.

The woman was treated at the scene before being rushed to the hospital.

Her condition is not yet known.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 7.30pm yesterday (29 January) to reports of a road traffic collision in Mare Street, Hackney.

“We sent an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car to the scene. The first paramedic arrived in around five minutes.

“We treated a patient at the scene and took her to hospital as a priority.”
