The air ambulance made a dramatic landing in Clissold Park on Saturday evening (July 30), to get close to a man with head injuries who had “fallen from a height” nearby.

A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service told the Gazette: “We were called just after 6.20pm to reports that a person had fallen from a height on Lordship Road, N16.

“We sent an ambulance crew, who were on the scene in just over four minutes, a single responder in a car, a duty officer and the London air ambulance, who landed the helicopter in nearby Clissold Park.

“Our staff treated one adult man, believed to be about 30, with a head injury. He was stabilised at the scene and taken by road ambulance to the Royal London Hospital.

“The doctor from the air ambulance accompanied the patient to hospital.”
