Amnesty International hosts Shoreditch ceilidh for Afghan women tomorrow

Human rights campaigners are holding a ceilidh in Shoreditch in aid of Afghan women tomorrow night (Wednesday).
Amnesty International is hosting the event at its headquarters in New Inn Yard to call for women’s rights and raise money for a new documentary on women and politics in Afghanistan.
Party-goers at the tradition Scottish dance will be able to send messages of support on colourful kites.
And filmmaker Zarghona Rassa will be on hand to talk about her work with Afghan women MPs.
