Applications are now open for a film course for young Hackney residents.
Youth project, Mouth that Roars is working with the BFI to run the weekly course from December.
It will be taught by industry professionals in film and participants will get mentoring in script writing, direction, production and more.
The course is free and the BFI offer small bursaries to help meet expenses, such as childcare or travel costs.
Prior film experience is not necessary but applicants must be aged 16 to 19, be a Hackney or Tower Hamlets resident and demonstrate a real passion for film. Apply at mouththatroars.com.
