Local artists are exhibiting and selling their work, much of which depicts local scenes, to raise money for the 500,000 transformation of St Peter’s Church crypt.
‘Artists in De Beauvoir’ builds on the success of last year’s inaugural show, and 30 artists are exhibiting this year.
It is one of many community fundraising events that have been taking place over the past two years to raise money to convert the church crypt in De Beauvoir Road into a community centre for everyone to use.
The show takes place on Friday May 11 from 6pm-8.30pm with a bar and music, and Saturday May 12 from 10am to 6pm with tea and cakes.
