A funeral parlour was damaged in a fire on Monday night.

The London Fire Brigade was called to Stoke Newington High Street just after 9.30pm, and had the blaze under control within an hour.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Fire crews from Stoke Newington, Islington and Holloway fire stations attended the scene.
