Homerton Hospital is not missing out on the chance to celebrate the 2012 Olympics, with the launch of a photographic exhibition by acclaimed photographer Marcus Lyon.
The 30 black and white shots were taken during previous Paralympic Games in Athens, Atlanta and Sydney, and are on display in the Education Centre and main thoroughfare at the hospital in Homerton Row.
Homerton’s art curator, Shaun Caton said: “This is a wonderful exhibition about human endeavour, courage and self-belief.
“Marcus Lyon is a humanitarian photographer whose photographs reflect with dignity and astonishing clarity the blood, sweat, and tears of making it against all odds.”
