A woodworker from Clapton who went missing on Wednesday has been found dead.
Police are confident a body discovered yesterday on Hackney Marshes, close to the Lee Valley Ice Rink, is that of Adam Connolly, who was 29.
His disappearance sparked concern from his family and friends, who described it as “out of character”.
Close friend and musician Jack Savidge, of Friendly Fires, launched an appeal to find him on the band’s Facebook page and on Twitter.
His death is not believed to be suspicious. A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
