RAY Lewis, who quit last week as one of Boris Johnson's deputy mayors amid allegations of misconduct, has been summoned to crunch talks to discuss his future as a governor at one of Hackney's flagship schools.
Mr Lewis resigned from his role as deputy mayor for young people after he was accused of misleading the public about his past.
The charismatic youth leader missed a meeting on Tuesday at which fellow governors at the Petchey Academy in Shacklewell Lane, Dalston, planned to quiz him.
Days before his departure, Mr Lewis was with Mr Johnson at a special ceremony to honour East End-born property tycoon Jack Petchey, who has backed the academy to the tune of £2 million.
