The rampant gentrification of Hackney Wick continues with the arrival of a pop-up five course veal supper.
Guests can enjoy a bovine banquet in a cosy, candle lit warehouse building, accompanied by fine wines, music and in the company of the veal farmer.
The menu, put together but rising culinary star Ian Ballantyne, includes veal tartare, Milanese, liver and Jacob’s ladder.
Chantal Brown, an independent British farmer behind Cotswold Veal who are providing the meat, will be on hand for curious diners.
The event takes place on November 14. For tickets and information, visit www.autumnyardsuppers.com.
