Bakers from across Britain are donating tasty treats for a Shoreditch cake sale raising money for the victims of the earthquake in Japan.
Edd Kimber, winner of the BBC’s Great British Bake Off, will be among those providing Japanese-inspired goodies for the charity event at Miss Cakehead’s Pop-Up Shop at Maiden, Shoreditch High Street.
Sushi cake pops from East London company Molly Bakes, cherry blossom cookies from Hertfrodshire’s Nevie Pie and Pac-Man gingerbread from London Baking will also be on offer on Friday and Saturday (March 18 and 19).
