Voluntary and community groups can apply for grants of up to £30,000 from this week, thanks to a Hackney Council scheme.
The A Place for Everyone Main Grant Programme launches on Wednesday for initiatives promoting social inclusion and developing personal resilience.
Cllr Jonathan McShane, Hackney’s health, social care and culture boss, said: “This year’s grants programme has so far supported 72 organisations.
“I’m pleased that despite economic difficulties the launch of the 2017/18 programme will continue to make grants available to support the voluntary and community sector, which helps improve the lives of Hackney’s residents.”
Holiday playscheme grants are also available. Click here for more information.
