Actress Pauline Quirke will lead out a celebrity football team in a match organised by St Joseph’s Hospice Hackney and Haven House Children’s Hospice in Woodford.

The celebrity team which also includes Heart FM’s JK, Pauline’s son Charlie Quirke and model and actor Paul Sculfor, will play against a team of Tottenham Hotspur Legends at Leyton Orient FC on Sunday May 17.

Ms Quirke, who is passionate about St Joseph’s Hospice where her mother was cared for during her final weeks 26 years ago, said: “I’m delighted to be involved in this fantastic event, where celebrities and ex footballers come together with a shared goal, to raise money to help people with life-limiting illness or those nearing the end of their lives.

“I hope everyone has a fantastic day and we raise lots of money.”
