An exhibition of contemplative cosmic paintings by Brighton based artist, Patrick O’Donnell is now on show at Homerton Hospital.
O’Donnell has spent over a year working on the exhibition called Wavelengths, which comprises paintings that at first glance could be mistaken for colour photographs of astronomy taken by the Hubble telescope.
The canvasses of star constellations and immense gas clouds in space have entranced visitors, and staff have called them “calming and soothing’
The exhibition is the 45th to be held at the hospital and will be on show in the Education Centre until the end of May.
