Appeal for information over Upper Clapton social club murder

Police re-issue CCTV images in bid to find killers.
MURDER detectives have re-issued an appeal for information into the killing of a young man in a social club.
Cem Duzgun, 21, of Islington, was shot dead as he played pool with a friend in the Clapton FC Club in Upper Clapton Road, at around 10.45pm on Monday October 5.
Mr Duzgun, who worked in clothes store in Croydon, was shot at close range and pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance crews.
CCTV images of two suspects taken from the area just before the shooting have been released by police in the hope someone will recognise them and come forward.
The first suspect is a light-skinned black man, in his early 20s, of medium height and slim build, wearing a navy/black jacket, grey hooded top, blue jeans and white trainers.
The second suspect is a black man, in his early 20s, wearing a navy hooded coat, jeans and trainers. He carried a plastic bag containing the gun.
Acting Detective Chief Inspector Andy Perrott, Homicide and Serious Crime Command said: “I believe there are people in the community who know who is responsible for this murder and hope the offer of a significant reward will persuade these individuals to come forward and help police provide some justice for Mr Duzgan’s family.”
